Because there is nothing else happening that might be even slightly more newsworthy.
This fuckin sad, pathetic town should be listed in the dictionary under “lame.” I swear it. It’s like a backwater burg that wants to be a real city when it grows up, and it thinks the first thing it has to develop is crime, traffic, and pollution. Then it can work on the extras…like sidewalks.
