I just need to say this.

I am SICK AND TIRED of all these people who either supported George W. Bush and/or the war coming forward now and talking about how “I dont think anyone could have anticipated…”

The operative words there being “I dont think,” and therein lies the problem.

I’ve got news for all the folks who did and still support George W. Bush and who did and still do think that this war in Iraq was justified and followed through on legitimate terms: Those of us who do think, knew. And we tried to tell you, and we were called unAmerican, unpatriotic, traitors, whiners, moonbats, and every other name in the book. By you. You, the people who supported and may still, even now, support the worst president in U.S. history, a man who has broken so many laws that he could be impeached probably a dozen times over on different charges, who is a war criminal, who can’t put a coherent thought together without a team of handlers, who ridicules and mocks his own support base even as he takes their checks.

The man who considers the best time of his presidency the time he’s spent knocking around his own ranch in Texas. The man who cares so much about this country that he let one of its cities sink back into the swamps from whence it came, taking many of her citizens with it, and not only protected those who aided and added to the chaos but to date has yet to lift a finger to provide any kind of meaningful assistance in rebuilding and restoring it.

So next time you start trying to defend yourself by proclaiming how you didnt THINK anyone could really foresee what would happen, remember this:

Yes, we did. And we fucking well told you so, and you didnt listen. This is YOUR FAULT, and nobody believes you when you try to hide behind that excuse. Not only were you wrong, not only were you ignorant, not only were you thinking only of yourself and towing your precious partly line, but you aided and abetted the worst leadership this country has ever known and now you’re too much of a coward to admit that you were wrong because you refused to listen to those of us who were, and still are, smarter than you. Instead, you chose to parrot what your Republican Talking Points memo told you to parrot, instead of having a brain and thinking for yourself.

Well, we did the thinking, and we told you so. We were right. We were right, and no amount of backsliding, denying, hemming or hawing on your part now will ever, ever, ever change that fact. And by doing so, it was YOU who became the unpatriotic ones; the unAmerican ones. You cannot claim to love America and continue to embrace those who are bent on destroying it.

You were wrong, and this is your fault.
