Pinochet dead at 91

Not bad for a dictator who killed more than 3,000 people for his own political gain, eh? Died a wealthy man, in a hospital, receiving the best of medical care, surrounded by his family, at the ripe age of 91, and never had to pay for one single atrocity he committed.

Goodnight, Moon

My mother died 25 years ago today.
A quarter century has gone by since I last held her hand in mine, since I last looked on her face, since I last heard the sound of her voice.
I don’t have the ability to express how I feel about that.
I sure have missed her, though.
