This is almost unbearably sad.

Although the Chinese river dolphin is 20 million years old, we only discovered their existence 80 years ago. They were immediately labeled the most endangered dolphin in the world. From that time till now, all we have done is argue and bicker about how best to save them. We have failed miserably at saving them, and the pollution that drove them to extinction has continued and increased unabated.

Twenty million years lost. All because we dont know how to behave.

My heart is breaking for this race.
