Not bad for a dictator who killed more than 3,000 people for his own political gain, eh? Died a wealthy man, in a hospital, receiving the best of medical care, surrounded by his family, at the ripe age of 91, and never had to pay for one single atrocity he committed.

Apparently the families of the desaparecidos have paid enough and to spare for what this man did. One tiny, meaningless statement, made from his deathbed, accepting only political responsibility of the heinous acts he perpetrated during his life does not excuse him. Rather, it serves to highlight how evil this man was, right to the end.

If there is a Hell, I hope he roasts eternally in its flames.
