Simon Wiesenthal has been one of my greatest heroes for a long, long time now. He is a man who, from the moment I discovered him, has been a major inspiration to me.
Though I never had the honour of meeting him, I loved and respected him, his mission, his devotion, his determination, and all he stood for. He never stood down, he never gave up. Mr Wiesenthal left a mighty legacy behind him, but there will never be another like him.
I hope that the work he did for so many decades is carried on, and that his message doesnt get lost. He never wavered on his path, seeking truth and justice. Simon Wiesenthal was truly a real, live superhero. There should be holidays named after this great man, to remember and celebrate his life and his cause. I deeply mourn his passing, even though his life was incredibly long, and full, and rich.
We shall not see his like again.
