Back when this happened at the end of July, I blogged it. At the time, although I questioned why they needed to kill this man, as he’d been subdued before he was shot, I also said that I wasn’t censuring the London police as harshly as I censure the LAPD.

Well, that’s all changed now. Turns out these fuckers were lying through their teeth. Either the LAPD has jumped the pond, or the London PD is studying how we do things here in Lost Angelpants, because this shit could have been taken out of one of our own headlines. I had held England up to a much higher standard. It would appear that I was most grievously mistaken in my assumption that the cops in London are a better sort of human being than the cops in LA. I am not happy that my little delusional bubble has been burst, and that I have been so wrong all this time.

Not only was this man, Jean Charles de Menezes, completely innocent, he was not, as first claimed by London law enforcement, acting like a man who was guilty. Judging from pictures of him, he did not look like he was Asian, south, north, or otherwise, or of Middle Eastern descent. He didnt act suspiciously, as has been proven by photographs and surveillance video. They had already secured him in his seat, and after he was subdued, some fucking cowboy with a badge came up to him and blew his fucking brains out. For no reason at all.

He wasn’t running from the police. He didnt jump a turnstile…he had a passcard, for chrissake. He was a student, he took the train regularly. His relatives had said this right after the first lies were being reported in the media. He didnt have a big, bulky coat on. How in the hell do you go from big, bulky coat to a denim jacket? Did these cops think they were in a vacuum, and that all the other human beings standing around during this sad, twisted comedy routine were maybe just painted, cardboard standees? Well, those cardboard standees had ears and eyes, and now it turns out that they have mouths and vocal cords, too.

These eyewitnesses are using those vocal cords now, and saying that all the shit that was reported by the media was not only inaccurate, but wildly so. The truth is that the cops had no idea who this poor son of a bitch was when he came out of his home. Why not? Because the cop who was supposed to be watching the door was busy taking a leak and missed him leaving. It was on the way to the underground, while they were tailing him, that they decided he looked like some terrorist. Suddenly, the guy’s a fucking master criminal running from the law, bristling with explosives under his big padded coat.

It didnt help that at least one of the eyewitnesses was a blithering idiot, either, describing Jean as a terrified Pakistani with a heavy winter coat on. However, the fact that the police appear to have made a good many untruthful statements…or did nothing to correct media reports that were nothing more than bald faced lies…is the real problem here, and the overwhelming majority of eyewitnesses are totally disputing what law enforcement has stated publicly so far. What’s more, they are still refusing to acknowledge that any information they’ve given so far has been inaccurate. The reason we know all this now is because the inquiry report has been leaked. And a goddamn good thing, too. This whole charade stank from the very beginning. Now we know why.

Surveillance video taken by the cameras in the underground show Mr de Menezes moving calmly and wearing a denim jacket, pausing to pick up a newspaper before he caught his train. Far from being a panic stricken terrorist, he was on his way to classes when the inept morons trailing him swarmed in, cornered him in his seat on the train and, in front of dozens of witnesses, emptied a pistol into his head. Why? Why did they shoot this man? Jean Charles de Menezes was an innocent young man who was killed because some pig had his dick in his hands while he was supposed to be doing his job.

This is what happens when you give people license to kill. Human beings are vile, hateful things, and the ones in power will take any advantage they can to hurt you. I dont know why anyone could ever continue to wonder why we…and by we I am including the United States in with this fucking catastrophe…why we are targets for hatred when we feel righteous justification in murdering people in cold blood just because they aren’t white. When was the last time any white boy got shot in the face for being a suspected terrorist? I can’t recall.
