They might think that we’re a tolerant, accepting society who labours under the belief that all people, everywhere, should be free and equal to be who they are and speak their mind without fear of retribution. That we have a just system of government that is strictly separated from any form of religious belief. That our nation’s leaders and politicians act in the best interests for their country and their constituency. They might think that we’re intelligent, rational, feeling, thinking human beings who care about one another and the world and utterly reject ideologies that center on hatred or discrimination or the belief that we are all one people with the right to be free to do as we like and live as we please, as long as we do no harm to others. We just can’t come across like that, can we? No! That would never do. What would the world think? They’d think we were all big, soft, liberal pussies, wouldnt they? They might even think we’re…gay!

We are, after all, America, and whatever we want you to believe, that has never been who we are, either now, or at any time in history since we raped this land and massacred the natives who once flourished here. These days, as on other, past occasions, freedom has become nothing more than a word the current administration uses to invade other countries to plunder their riches in order to line their own pockets, while the rest of us lose our rights and sink further into a miasma of desperation and despair. Except if you’re rich. But then, if you’re rich, you’re one of them, aren’t you?

You aren’t? Well what the fuck are you standing around doing nothing for?

And people wonder why I’m so fucking angry all the time these days. If you aren’t, you’re either part of the problem or you’re too fucking stupid to care. Either way, save us all some trouble and kill yourself. No matter what anyone tells you, you’re a worthless waste of space.
